About
To get the basics out of the way:
My name is Amy Lavergne.
I’m 24 years old.
I was born in southern Louisiana, moved the Austin, Texas when I was five years old, and moved to Minneapolis Minnesota at 22 years old (which is where I am now).
I am the first member of my family to move out of the South on a permanent basis.
I’m a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em Horns!) with a journalism degree.
I’m a graduate student at the University of St. Thomas, working on my Master of Business Communication.
I work in corporate communications for a very large financial services company.
I love sports. Especially football. More recently, baseball. I’m not a stats hound, I’m a cheerleader.
I love to write. I do it for a living.
As far as politics: I’m fiscally conservative, socially moderate, and spiritually liberal. I’m a Ron Paul Republican, or a Libertarian, whatever.
I love my iPod.
I eat out way too much.
I HATE IT when people I don’t know get physically too close to me.
According to my doctor, my thyroid is “not normal.”
